I lived here for 5 years I worked nights and couldn’t sleep or relax due to the upstairs neighbors because of stomping yelling slamming things etc. I throughout the years I notified the office and nothing was ever done the bathroom was molded so badly and flooded many times by upstairs tenants they came and patched the ceiling up and I had to contact code enforcement who didn’t seem to care either and not to mention the murders and drug addicts that infested the apartments I wanted to move partly because of the issues and I wanted to buy a house I was given a hard time with that so I bought my house and moved anyway I couldn’t take it anymore so fast forward I get a bill stating that I owed over $2000 for one months rent and carpet damage mind you I lived there for 5 years my youngest chil
This place is a total nightmare. Bedbugs, spiders, even big huge spiders that jump! Ew! All kinds of bugs everywhere! There is white crumb looking stuff falling from the ceiling that I think is asbestos or something. Just trifling. Mice run around like they own the place, and the basement is absolutely disgusting! Bugs everywhere, ceiling broken, bugs in dryer AND washer, people that live in other buildings are literally able to access your building through the basement that’s scary! The office people are the worst. Rude, money hungry, always lying about rent and fees. Maintenance doesn’t do anything. You report problems, they see them, and still nothing gets fixed. The neighborhood is loud and stressful. Neighbors yelling all the time, blasting music, washers and dryers always breaking.
My experience at grant village: If I could give zero stars as everyone else has said I would. I have lived here for 5 years (too long) but only because it has been the most cost effective option. Every year I have foolishly chosen to renew instead of just biting the bullet and paying a higher rent for a better quality of living. Not only will management try to sneak in illegal fees but this place is full of mice, I’ve had my car broken Into on multiple occasions, and my car window smashed during my tenancy here. Work orders from years ago were never taken care of.. to the point I’ve had to come up with solutions and fix the issues my self. The turnover for office staff and maintenance is so ridiculous I assume the requests are forgotten. I watch maintenance pull In every day and sit
Moved out of here years ago, but somehow my review got hidden and I think that’s shady so I’m reposting it. My apartment in particular was unrenovated so it didn’t have an AC or dishwasher and my kitchen got the landlord paint special and yet I was still paying about $800 a month for a 477 sq ft apartment. Then on top of that, they wanted to raise it $105 for the second year. Let me list the reasons this place was absolutely not worth $900 a month. (Probably even more now) From the get-go, the day I signed my lease, the office person pointed out a broken window screen and said they’d have it fixed by the weekend. It didn’t get fixed so I called a few times about it over the course of a year and it still never got fixed. Like I said, my place was unrenovated. Everything in the kitchen was
This place deserves 0 stars. Worst place I have ever lived and I lived there for WAY to long. The women in the office are just the worst. After many years of living there they decided to end my lease with no reason and when I moved out they lie now saying that I never left and owe 2 months of rent for months that I was not even there. They are such liars. They don't care about anything BUT money. Run. Don't NOT waste 1 min there. The apartments are falling apart. The basements look like a war zone with sewage leaking all over the floors ... police always there and homeless people from shop city come over to go through the garbage every single day. Before I left homeless people were found sleeping in the driveway and there baby died along with a old lady that was killed by tenants there. It
