Grandeville at River Place Apartments

Horrible experience, the office staff changed several times during my lease period, my car was towed from the parking lot by maintenance staff regardless of me having parking stickers, I eventually was reimbursed but it was still inconvenient to go thru the recovery of my vehicle. My apartment bldg 7 apartment 205 was filthy upon move in and carpet had to be professionally cleaned. The apartment lacked adequate lighting and had appliances that looked as if they were picked up from a yard sale. In addition the maintenance staff did not fix anything. Lastly I was charged to replace carpet I didn’t damage and resurface the bathroom tubs. Again there was no damage done and I left the apartment better than I received it. I even had lights installed which I left as a courtesy to the next renters

NOT "luxury living" as they say!! The gym is usually never well kept to begin with (equipment out of place, trash always full, no sanitizing wipes), but it was absolutely DISGUSTING today. The smell from the water dispenser was absolutely atrocious I almost threw up. My fiancé went in earlier this week and it was in the exact same conditions so the smell has been marinating in there for a while. Gross. They also leave the gates open 24/7 so there is absolutely no sense of security in the complex. The windows are single pane so when it's cold it condensates so you have to wipe it every morning. If you have a leak, they will just spray paint over it and don't even check for mold. They even got spray paint all over the floor. The grills near the pool are absolutely disgusting too. My family and I are absolutely obsessed with our apartment here! We’ve lived in houses most of our lives, so transitioning to apartment living was a big change, but honestly, we’ve loved it here and prefer it far more than we expected. The layout of our apartment is one of our favorite things. It feels spacious and thoughtfully designed, with so much attention to detail from where the cabinets and closets are placed to how the rooms flow. You would think moving from a house to an apartment would feel more crowded, but we actually feel like we have more usable space. We also find ourselves spending much more time outside enjoying the patio and community spaces than we ever did when we had a backyard. The amenities are beautiful and unique, and the community is the perfect size, big enough

I’ve had my issues here but regardless of that management has always been helpful. All you have to do is communicate and someone will help you resolve whatever is needed. I feel safe in the neighborhood and love my apartment. PS: I have been living here since 2023 and so far I have loved it. Could not have asked for a better place.
