Years ago Cane Bay was a beautiful thriving place to move to. Now it is overcrowded and they refuse to open a second entrance. Traffic to leave or enter the neighborhood can hit an hour depending on the day. Can you imagine needing an hour to go 2 miles? They do not care about Cane Bay, you can see that from the way it looks now. It has been abused for years and we are tired of it. You are committed to community and quality of life? Then open the second entrance and clean up what you are responsible for.

Attention to the infrastructure in Cane Bay should be a top priority. With over 4500 residents and growing, one way in and one way out is poor and unsafe planning. This has been neglected for too long. The sad part is that they are within a couple of hundred feet of finishing 2 additional entry/exit ways but refuse to complete. In an area that has the potential of hurricanes each year, mass exit from the neighborhood in an emergency evacuation is nearly impossible and would incite caos. This would likely also encourage people to stay home in these emergencies, adding to the burden of 1st responders. I urge you to review the infrastructure in Cane Bay and quickly devise a solution. The development itself is great, I love the idea of all different neighborhoods together in one big development. BUT the infrastructure is just horrible, one entrance and exit to Cane Bay scares me on a regular day we truly can be trapped in our own neighborhood for hours trying to get out. Only 2 Lane highways everywhere surrounding us on top of that. They need to do something about this and quick. It's a safety issue more than it is an inconvenience.

Buyer BEWARE! They only care about the money going into their pockets. Cane Bay has always been set to have 10,000 homes. We are at 5,000 and the poor infrastructure only creates traffic jams and lends to wrecks. With this many homes a fire station should have been put up years ago. There’s a severe safety issue in our community that needs addressing. The medians used to cross the roads are not safe. In front of schools, drivers shouldn’t have to play chicken with oncoming traffic to cross over to other lanes. There’s only one way in and one way out of the neighborhood. This is not safe and these guys don’t care!

Love my home and neighborhood in Cane Bay. Do not love the ONE exit and entrance. Dangerous and silly considering the amount of homes here and still so many more being built. We've been told for years that two other entrance/exits are coming but still not completed. If I had it all to do over again, I'd build elsewhere.
