Maintenance response time is horrible, my fridge went out while I was out of town and all my food went bad. Called them that morning didnt get to me til 3pm that afternoon with a response. Corporate wouldnt replace the food and acted as if it was something I did wrong or could help from happening. After filing a formally complaint now no one can return a phone call. They then tried to rush and put another used fridge in my unit that was nasty and full of roaches.🪳 see pics. It from 2007 a 17 year old fridge is crazy but your not responsible for one going out. They also have no type of security I have filed numerous complaints about coming home at night to weird and obvious homeless ppl hanging in my staircase and walk space. Excellent family community. Very spacious rooms. Parking can be better. My overall experience is I love it even being a senior citizen. Convenient to grocery stores.

I remember when Goodbread was Ebony Gardens projects and before that Macomb Street/Fourth Avenue Apartments. Police used to get calls almost every day in the 80s & 90s: Violence & drug activity dominated Frenchtown, but to see this hood transformed is nothing short of amazing.

Have not received my deposit back yet from them. I cancelled my move in march 31st it’s going on may 31st in a few days…. I was told the address was correct, missed a call from royal American saying that my address wasn’t correct. Don’t understand how it isn’t correct when it was verified twice. Tried to call Royal American back many times Sheryl to be exact. Has not been answering. Good-bread management has been giving me the run around. People have real life bills to pay for them to be playing with other people funds. Probably wouldn’t recommend them. They’re unprofessional but you just have to see for yourself like I did.

Maintenance is basically nonexistent. My apartment was flooded and sat that way for a full week with zero urgency to fix the issue. You’re expected to bring your own AC filter to the office for a swap — but when I actually did, they were out. I ended up breathing through the same dusty filter for nine months. Basic upkeep just isn’t a priority here. I kept the filter out of spite to see if they’d ever do their job and change it, but they never did. They (A towing service they require) almost had my car towed because I didn’t have a parking decal — which sounds fair until you realize they never printed one for me, despite multiple requests.
