Goldmont Realty does not care about their tenants. At 25 tennis court, it took them OVER A YEAR to address our leaking ceiling after multiple complaints with video evidence. If we didn't call 311, I doubt any repairs would have taken place. And the interior damaged caused by the leaks was never addressed by the time we moved out. There aren't enough washer/dryers for the building and the ones there are constantly out of service. The elevators are also consistently out of service. Additionally, our entire security deposit was used to pay the remaining balance of our last month's rent, overpaying the balance by over $600. We have yet to receive the remainder of our security deposit.

Definitely slum lords. They will not fix a broken elevator. It's been going on 4 months and they don't care if paying tenants don't have a working elevator. The elevator will work for one trip and then it's down ( get in press a floor and it doesn't move) for the next few hours. Tenants are PHYSICALLY pulling the elevator door close. A repair man claimed they don't want to pay for the part to FIX the elevator. This company treats people like garbage and they MAKE IT CRYSTAL CLEAR that the tenants well being ARE NOT their concern. FIX THE ELEVATOR!!!! (9/19) city has shut down the elevator.

Posting online as a last resort to our unsatisfactory experience living in a residence managed by Goldmont Realty for over 4 years. We were elated that we found a rent stabilized apartment in Brooklyn, but we did pay a broker’s fee, even though we found the apartment ourselves posted on StreetEasy with no pictures. At first we loved the spacious apartment and the neighborhood, even though it smelled really strongly of cat urine and we had to mop several times and keep windows open when we first moved in. Within the first year, we dealt with about a dozen or so mice and were told to just trap them instead of them taking care of the holes in the building and preventing mice altogether. It wasn’t until the residents in an apartment below us moved out and they fixed those holes that the mice

I have lived in one of their buildings for 4 years. Sam made the lease signing and moving in super easy. The management have responded swiftly every time we needed a repair person or exterminator. They were very understanding when we had an unnoticed remis payment on our account and Sam worked fairly and generously for us to resolve it. They have never given us any hassle as landlords and left us alone to live in peace. Our Super is available to help with any issues with the apartment and is really friendly and helpful. Happy having rented from Goldmont for the last 4 years.

I live in my Fort Greene building managed by Goldmont and it is fantastic. Our building is always maintained, and when a service is needed, someone comes within 24 hours if it’s a non-emergency. The property manager, Sam, is responsive and actually cares about his tenants. It’s nice to live somewhere and know the people who run and manage your building genuinely care.
