Selling a home is already stressful, and unfortunately this experience made it worse. I had a very disappointing experience working with Ruth Rivera and Globalwide Realty while selling my home. Communication was poor throughout the process, and I often had to follow up for updates. After a buyer was approved and we had agreed on terms, I was later approached about reducing the agreed sale price in a way that would have allowed the buyer to pocket funds from the loan. This was not something I was comfortable with and did not align with the original agreement. It felt as though she was advocating more for the buyer than for me, even though I was the one who hired her to represent my interests. Was spoken to as a minority because i had questions about being a first time buyer and didn’t know which route to take. I thought that’s what realtors were for, to mentor.
