1st time paying rent and they want a $2.50 fee for ACH!!?? I never paid a fee for a bank transfer and not starting now! 1st day of Rushmore, 1/12/26. Glennwood Apts, Burlington NC...... Sends a "warm welcome" email giving instructions on login to their portal but doesn't give an account # , REQUIRED!!! Go to my office at 1:45 PM and the ladies can't access the software yet, office a mess, installing new voip system .... No code for Resident Portal either! What a HOT MESS, not prepared in the least! Not looking good for these folks! Under Carlyle Management: I am appalled at the complete disregard for resident safety as related to snow ice removal at this property. They even have the gall to advertise on the sign that they're handicapped friendly! The ice storm last week , they did not res
I toured the apartments on Thursday (10/2) and Cherelle, one of the managers led me on the tour of the property. She was very professional, friendly and made the application process easy to understand. I believe the property is going through some renovations which shows how much the owners care about the site. I haven't even started living there (yet), but I already feel comfortable and relaxed there. I would highly recommend renting at Glennwood. Very affordable as well.
My son has lived here for 15 years( due to circumstances beyond his control). The outside had gotten so worn down and raggedy looking. I moved in with him 8 years ago after my husband passed. The rent goes up by 100s of dollars every lease renewal but we are stuck. Lease says certain breed dogs not permitted yet all I see are pit bulls and Rottweilers, often off leash. My upstairs neighbors main job seems to be stomping, dropping things and letting a young child run from one end of the apartment to the other screaming. I hesitated to say anything because of previous neighbors slashing my tires when I did. I have called the front office twice instead but nothing has stopped. Getting woke up with jump scares is too much. Just really wish I could move.
Unfortunately this was my first apartment at the age of 19. I Lived here for 3 years when I first moved in rent for my studio was only 700$ it somehow gone up hundreds and I was dealing with personal issues and decided to stay. Within the years my apartment was flooded 4 times by neighbors pipe system passing into mine. The garage area is messy and looks like a landfill. The paint is cheap and will peel and make your apartment look even more raggedy then it already look. Random Little kids would come knocking on my door asking if I could pay them to take my trash out. Where are there parents at?? Who knows. Neighbors would be loud I have a video of a neighbor threatening to shoot someone and arguing with another neighbor in the parking lot. Just ghetto really. The ladies in the office are
It is a place to live that is also too costly for what it provides. I don't use the pool, i don't have kids, and i don't use the public washer and dryers but i still get to pay for it with my rent money. Had a broken toilet since i moved in that still isn't fixed and a hot water heater that has been signed off on being fixed that still isn't fixed completely. Autopay doesn't work consistently giving me late fees so I'm going to start not relying on it at all. should probably talk to a lawyer about it who knows. Kids are way too loud outside yelling regular noise with some vulgarities mixed in and act like a bunch of hooligans riding bikes and scooters right near the cars or throwing balls near them with all of them unsupervised which is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Not to mention the
