Your typical cheaply built greedy corporate managed apartment complex. They make it so easy to sign up to move in but give you hell for trying to leave. They emailed in December saying we needed to let them know if we were renewing by the end of January. We told them we were not renewing before the end of January. But then now all of a sudden we have to provide a 60 day notice (mind you we were just over a week from letting them know to be within 60 days). We did check the lease and granted it does state 60 days. HOWEVER, a reminder or notice would've been nice??? It's especially annoying since they told us to just let them know in January but then they reneged. So now we're stuck paying a full month's worth of rent when we're not even living here that entire time. But that's not all! Sinc

Please do not ever become a resident at this place! We lived at this facility for 2 years. We should have known it was going to be an issue when they contacted us 2 weeks before moving in to let us know that our unit would not be ready for us in time so they had to scramble and find us another unit to live in and we ended up having to settle for a 3rd floor apartment. The actual apartment was very nice but maintenance requests take forever and half the time you call the after hours line you just get a busy tone. Less than 24 hours notice when pest control or maintenance is needing to come into your apartment. Do not waste your time or money at this complex!!! Our tour was great, facilities looked great, social/community events sounded exciting ... The apartment was on the 2nd floor, there were literal PILES of pigeon droppings all over the stairs, the pigeons roosted on the balcony and carry fleas. The pool that looked so inviting on the tour was green and closed most of the summer. Upon breaking the lease, we understood the charges to be a month's rent which we were happy to pay to get out of this complex. The charges we were billed after moving out were outrageous and included us being charged for flea infestation which was caused by the pigeons. Again, we paid those fees which we had to do in increments because of the egregious amount they charged. We were so relieved to make the final pay

First of all do not believe the 5 star reviews, they are either employees or bribed with gift cards. My wife and I rented here for two years and it was the worst living experience we’ve ever experienced. During our time here we lived in two separate units (I’ll explain why) in our first unit the furnishings were low quality, the faces of the cabinets peeling off as well as the dish washer leaking constantly. One of the worst parts of this first unit was the electric bill, for a one bedroom apartment we had bills up to $350 for a month and the A/C could not keep up, during the summer it was consistently 78-83 degrees no matter what the thermostat was set on. I have called The Glen @ Polo Park home for 6 years now and have had a very pleasant experience. I have never received anything for good reviews. Our complex has changed owners in the past years and with any complex it takes some time to get everything taken care of but they have done a good job! I read the negative reviews and just can't believe all of what I read. We did have a problem with the trash but no fault to the management. I had the same thing happen at a brand new complex. Our team here has worked hard to keep things in working order. The cold winter weather created issues but that was due to the extreme cold. I know it is told that maintenance didn't help but I also watched the extreme work they were doing to help residents when pipes froze...so I feel bad that some had a bad
