Glebe House Apartments

I lived at Glebe House Apartment from 2017 to 2024. This place gave me peace of mind and financial stability because the rent is affordable and all utilities plus cable are included and free parking yet the location is amazing. Located less than 15 minutes from downtown D.C and most major attractions in the D.C area. 10 mins from Reagan airport, 7 min from Crystal City, 2, 1 miles from Arlington and 2 min from the Potomac Yard metro station, less than 5 min from major grocery stores. The property management team composed of Joann, Lee (now retired), Greg and Denise are very friendly and always available to help and expedite any issues. My husband and I lived here in an unfurnished studio when we were first starting out. It’s not the most flashy or up-to-date, but it’s everything you need and you cannot beat the rates - especially in Northern Virginia! The buildings were well maintained and relatively secure as you need a key to get in. All utilities included in the rent - even HBO. The only thing you do have to take care of is private internet service if you want it in your apartment.

I lived here for about 3 years, in a studio apartment. Pros: - The place has a great location (close to a shopping center, Crystal City, Reagan Airport, Del Ray, etc.). - The staff are also very nice and responsive to maintenance requests. - Although the building is old (from the 1950s, I think?), I actually didn't have a lot of maintenance issues and I never had a pest problem either. - Rent was incredibly low for the area and it was never increased during my stay, even though I went month-to-month after the first year - Rent included all utilities + cable Cons: - The walls did not muffle any noise. This is the main reason I moved because I was starting to feel pretty miserable. Being on the second floor with neighbours above, below, right, and left, I heard *everything* that human bein

A willfully uncomplicated and straightforward rental experience. For the affordable price, the conditions of the apartment and buildings were beyond well-loved and cared-for, the extras that came with the rental were top notch and vast, and the staff were always there to help you get your maintenance needs met. Was there ten months and did not regret a moment of my stay, and hated that I had to go. Hated!! Definitely considering them for a future tenacy, as things are looking up for me again. DO NOT BE FOOLED, THIS PLACE IS THE CREAM OF THE CROP!

I lived at Glebe House for four years. In that time, the affordable rent went up only once, and the increase was only 5%. The staff was great and, when a rental for my wife (then my fiancée) fell through, they managed to get her a six-month rental on a week's notice. The staff is extremely friendly, very responsive, and very engaged in making Glebe House an affordable and quality place to live. There aren't a lot of amenities, but that's a big part of why the price is so great.
