I moved to NYC two years ago, and renting with Gioia Property Management has been a great experience. The team has been super responsive and flexible, making the whole process smooth. Big shoutout to Viktor, the superintendent, and Fernando, the handyman—they’re both incredibly helpful and quick to address any issues. Also, Regina, the office manager, has been fantastic—always on top of things and super helpful. If you’re looking for a place in the city, I’d definitely recommend checking them out.

I've lived here for nearly 3 years, and it is absolutely my favorite place I've ever lived. Arlene and Regina are kind, thoughtful, responsive, and professional. They treat their tenants with care, which is not something you come by every day here in NYC! I would recommend living at a Gioia property to anyone. The building and units are clean, well-maintained, and the neighbors are all wonderful!

Please be cautious in any dealings with Gioia Realty. Despite our lease stating we could move in on the first of the month, we were told last minute that we had to wait five more days, leaving us homeless and without appropriate compensation or any apology. Arlene Gonzalez / Gioia Realty also withheld our security deposit (for no reason, they just didn't give it back and ghosted us when we asked about it) until we threatened legal action. Additionally, they violated our privacy by entering and touching things in our apartment without consent.

I'm moving to a new apartment just a few blocks away, and the part of living in my apt. that i'll miss the most, outside of (Sunny and Annie's up the block) is having Gioia as my landlord. In the 13yrs I've been renting apartments, Gioia has by far the best landlord I have ever come across. The first place I looked when I was looking for a new apartment was the Gioia website. Anytime I've ever had a question or an issue, they've responded and/or sent a super out within a day (usually within an hour) to fix it. Every single person I've come across that works for Gioia has been kind, thoughtful and fair. I can't say enough nice things about Rick and the rest of his team.
