Unannounced Entry in Home, Uninhabitable Apartment, Missing Packages: I was a resident at Gentry for a little over a year and moved out about a week ago. I've had several issues while I've lived at Gentry and expressed these concerns with Kristina and Jordan (leasing management) in writing, by phone, and in person. They all have my contact information and have never reached out to find a mutual resolution. See pics attached of my apartment left uninhabitable for almost 1 month. My next door neighbors pipe burst a few months ago and water spread to my apartment, filling my carpet and several rooms with water. The leasing office had a third party vendor come in to pull my carpet up and dry the water, then the infested carpet was left pulled up and uncleaned in my bedroom for almost one mo

My time at Gentry began in early October of last year and I was so excited to move in at the time. 8 months later I’m even more delighted with the living experience now than I was then. The front office is great and such a pleasure to associate with. They are consistently personable, pleasant, and responsive. Shout out to Samara, Kristina, Mykaila, and Jordan… especially Mykaila. The concierge team also outperforms and does a great job taking care of my guests. I can’t imagine having a better crew of maintenance professionals, either. Shout out to Frank. Once my fridge went out and they had a brand new unit installed by 10am the next morning… within 12 hours of me reporting the issue. I’ve lived at the gentry for 9 months now. The first 8 months were great. But about a month ago, my apartment was flooded due to sprinklers being set off in a different unit. I have had to relocate for almost a month now while repairs were done and they did nothing to help with the relocation costs. They also still made me pay rent with NO REIMBURSEMENT. To make it worse, I came back to my apartment after renovations were done to find my apartment completely ransacked. Sheets off my bed, furniture moved, items thrown casually on the ground. I left my apartment completely clean- bed made, closet closed, dishes done, etc. my belongings are now everywhere. Again, with no compensation or break in rent at all. I recently spent five days in Atlanta, staying at my friend’s apartment community in Buckhead, and I was thoroughly impressed. The location is unbeatable, with plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance, yet it still maintains a charming neighborhood feel. The staff I interacted with—both the concierge while receiving food deliveries and a maintenance team member I passed—were incredibly helpful and friendly. The building itself is spotless and beautifully decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re a pet owner, you’ll love the easy-access pet run conveniently located right off the lobby. I highly recommend this community for anyone looking to experience the best of Buckhead!

Management's negligence killed my dog. My healthy, 10-year-old dog Skylar is dead because the management at The Gentry chose to ignore reported safety hazards. On January 20, a hazardous substance (oil) was poured from a balcony above mine. I reported this to the office immediately. I followed up over and over again for nearly three weeks, begging for help. They did absolutely nothing. No investigation, no cleanup, and zero urgency. Because they refused to act, Skylar ingested the oil, which caused her to suffer through a horrific case of pancreatitis and respiratory distress. She took her last breath on February 11.
