I recently moved into The Savoy, one of the Gelman properties on New Hampshire Ave NW. The entire move-in process and corresponding engagement with the management has been a breeze. Amber Cato, the property manager at The Savoy made sure I was well settled in. She was unbelievably nice during the apartment visit, the lease signing process, the move in and incredibbly patient with all the silly issues I bother her with every now and then. The Savoy, itself is at unbbeatable location in downtown DC, and that too at a reasonable price. While the building itself is probably old, it is remarkably well maintained. When I moved in, all the fixtures and fittings at the apartment were in great condition. I've had no unpleasant experiences with any pests or roaches. Maintenance is always in order a

Was a Gelmarc Towers tenant for a year. Management was great and very helpful in dealing with a more complicated than expected move-out situation. Apartment was nice and great price for the neighborhood.

The property manager at The Savoy, Amber Cato, is terrific. She was very helpful during my move-in from start to finish and she made the process easy and enjoyable. She is everything you could hope for in a property manager. It is clear that Amber takes a lot of pride in the building and she does a great job of ensuring that it is always clean and that all guests are well taken care of. She is also very responsive and will take care of any issues you may have immediately. When I had an issue with my room, Amber had someone there to fix the issue within hours. On top of keeping the building in great shape, she is super friendly and a real pleasure to be around. I would recommend Amber and the rest of the Savoy staff to anyone who is looking for a great spot to live in DC.

My wife and I lived in two of their properties throughout our 3 years in DC. Great experiences with leasing managers who were accommodating with our needs. Maintenance requests were handled promptly, many in the same day they were made.

Living at the Savoy for the past two years was a great experience! It was so convenient to the GW campus and perfect location for living in D.C. Amanda Faye, the building manager, responds quickly to maintenance requests and addresses any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
