Gateway Apartments

You get what you pay for I guess. This place is the bare minimum. When I first moved in the carpets were not cleaned properly, they were full of dust and dog hair. They were quick with some maintenance work orders but not all. I reported that my ceiling was splitting and caving in, they patched it up and never returned to fix it correctly. Upon moving out I left the place cleaner than when I first moved in but did not receive my security deposit back. Overall it was a quiet safe area and just a place to live, not the greatest.

Let me start by saying these apartments are extremely affordable but you get what you pay for. Apartments are roomy but completely falling apart. Counters are worn and stained, cabinets broken/chipped and falling off their rails, floors are peeling and horribly stained. They take a pretty steep pet deposit and clearly don't put any of the money from that deposit into fixing damage from previous owners' pets. My apartment had neon yellow pee stains everywhere on the vinyl flooring. My air conditioner broke right when it started to hit 100 degrees outside everyday. In most places, this would have been considered an emergency fix. Well, no one answers the emergency maintenance line. They ignore all guests and keep the office locked up at all times. You can see people inside but they won't answer, not ever call back. If that's how they treat applicants, I'd hate to see how they treat residents 😬

They don’t care about residents or their needs when it comes to maintenance ….but when the rent is due they on u….infestation don’t recommend…

It is really roomy and good square footage for the price. It is fairly standard as far as apartments go.
