Gateway is a beautiful complex with palm trees and a resort-style appeal, yet has several notable issues including high rent prices that far surpasses similar apartments. Our unit specifically is 4/5 but the apartments as a whole would be 3.5/5 rounded down to 3/5 The good: -Maintenance requests are always promptly answered (within 24-36 hours usually) and professionally handled -Pools and BBQs are routinely cleaned -Always availability and the rental process is quick -Easy to pay rent and utilities on the portal -Enjoy our unit. Recommend a corner unit or one overlooking a view -Different buildings have different amenities and price points. Huge thank you to Cory for the excellent service! He fixed both our washing machine and heater quickly and did a great job explaining everything. He was professional, kind, and super efficient. Kim in the leasing department also went out of her way to prioritize our request even though they were fully booked. Truly great experience and customer service!

Gateway Apartments in Anaheim makes maintenance requests so easy and seamless. We always get our maintenance completed either that same day or the next. Jose B. recently helped us out and addressed all of our concerns kindly and professionally. I would also like to mention Carlito, he’s helped us in the past and always does a great job. 10/10 customer service.

Carlito, Gateway’s maintenance crew member, is AMAZING! He is so courteous and handles all maintenance requests with care and efficiency. He recently replaced my 4+ year old microwave that finally met its final days and did so quickly and respectfully. 5 stars for Carlito.

Incompetence at its finest. If you want to lose everything move here into any Irvine Company Property. We moved into the Gateway in June 2024 to find halls that had dog feces and urine in the hallway. Upon moving in we were offered a storage unit that we paid for monthly. I put some heirlooms into our storage unit only to one day open the locker up and find everything was gone. They “assumed” we had abandoned the locker. Of course it was there mistake by recording the wrong locker number under our names. Did they make it right? No and in fact we were told they aren’t responsible for this and to use our renters insurance (the very renters insurance who is owned by the Irvine Company and denied our claim).
