Galloway Village Apartments

This is based on 2 years living there from 2014-16. *** The management was great. When I had issues the maintenance was there within 48 hours with a window of time. The rent was great for the area and what we got. Could have used more washers and dryers because there was often none available. I had thought about moving back there but things don’t look as good. I saw a news story about issues with trash. And the is about $400 more now than it was when I lived there and doesn’t look like anything special was added. Not sure if there’s new management.

Me and my roommate have been living at Galloway Village apartments since December. Since then we have had a number of problems I honestly can’t wait till our lease is up. When we first moved in everything was fine for like a week then the heater when out it took them about two weeks to get it fixed which was very inconvenient. Due to the very cold weather me and my roommate where not able to stay in our apartment. Ever time we went in the office the staff seemed like they didn’t care about the situation. After everything was finally taken care off summer came around the ac just stoped working out of nowhere. It has now been 5 weeks since that happened and we still have no working air conditioner. Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever lived . I lived there for three months , and from the time I moved in until I moved out my oven was not able to be used . Originally the gas to the stove was turned off , then it kept blowing my outlets in my kitchen . So they ran an extension cord from behind my stover to plug it in behind my washer . Problem was still not solved . I was smelling gas when I did try to use the oven after they “fixed” the problem of it blowing the outlets with the extension cord . Had the gas company come out and check for a gas leak … sure enough the co2 levels went up to 207 as soon as the oven was turned on . Maintenance came out again said it was fine and they would not be replacing the oven because that’s the last resort . And putting in maintenance request is almos

There's trash everywhere usually and they charge extremely expensive rates for rent. $1000 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment. They're small apartments too. This is off of a high crime area on west broad st. This should be $650 a month. Absolutely ridiculous.

The workers and managers never answer the phone, don't notify you of cancelation of services or tour to apartment, they say they will call but never do, they have a big roach and bed bug problem. Its just very difficult to live somewhere when you have little to none communication with "management ". Ive never delt with this anywhere i moved. Its very sad.
