My husband & I lived here for a year and had a great experience. We only moved because we bought a house; otherwise, we definitely would have stayed. The property is dog friendly, very well-maintained, and just overall a no-drama place to live. I think every unit has a balcony in addition to the communal roof deck; we'd never had outdoor space before and loved spending time out there reading or having coffee. We rarely heard noise from neighbors, maintenance requests were always promptly and thoroughly addressed, and Shauna & Toby (the office managers) were exceedingly friendly, helpful, and clear. I can't recommend Gallagher Properties highly enough!

I lived here for a little over a year, and have some mixed feelings about the location BUT wanted to shout out Shauna and Toby for being super kind, respectful, understanding, responsive, and easygoing property managers. Thank you both! Many people in your position in this city don’t do half the job you do. John from maintenance was also very kind and did a good job. My unit (1 bed 1 bath) was fairly open and spacious with lots of closet space. It stayed temperate throughout the season changes and I didn’t get any noise from my next door neighbors or upstairs/downstairs really. It’s just in a very noisy area; behind a fire station, next to a hospital, and right in between the Ballard bridge and 15th/Market intersection. I’ve loved at a Gallagher Properties managed apartment for almost 2 years now, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. If we were buying a home we’d be staying here We’re able to buy a home because they offer apartments at incredibly reasonable prices. We’re in an older, no frills, building. Gallagher Properties maintenance, Brian, is spectacular and you wouldn’t know it was an older building. He is quick to respond to small repairs, and incredibly communicative when there are larger projects that need to be completed. We even had the water heater go out, he had a new one in within 3 hours. The apartment I live in has parking included in the cost of rent, washer & dryer in unit and a small communal backyard. I have been living here for 3 years and the elevator goes through periods of outages. Don't get me wrong, I love this building! It wouldn't be so bad if the contract with the elevator company wasn't so bad. If it goes out, you're stuck until the next or the following business day (we're the lowest priority). This isn't considered an emergency, yet at least 3 tenants on the 6th floor use a cane, walker or wheelchair. I'm the whiny guy on the 5th floor with a dog. Just getting tired of it! Leasing agents do their absolute best! They try tirelessly to fix the issue themselves. This is a management company issue.

This is hands down the best place I've ever lived. I've lived here for more than 2 years now without any real issues. If you put in a maintenance request, this gets addressed quickly. I've never had an issue with someone not getting back to me if I reach out and have a problem or question. Shauna, the property manager is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make residents feel at home - for example, putting out candy or dog treats in the lobby, decorating for holidays, putting out free hand sanitizer/TP/masks during covid (during the infamous TP shortage!). She once even went out of her way to go check on my cats and feed them when my cat sitter was a no show!
