Freedom Mortgage - Wholesale Alamonte Springs FL

So far so bad. Freedom Mortgage bought my loan from Sierra Pacific Mortgage a few months ago. Since then, pandemonium! I had an insurance claim already in the works since Hurricane Ian. That was 2 1/2 years ago. I finally got a settlement it was made out to Freedom Mortgage and myself. Freedom Mortgage is refusing to sign it. They want me to go through an entire insurance process all over again. If you are able to use another Mortgage company, jump on it! This company sucks!

Very disrespectful but will not fix anything in Adam’s Lake many lights out and trees over growing unsafe. You can’t see when you are sitting at the stop sign. A number of lights out in the area. Front of subdivision to the back of subdivision over 30 lights out.

I paid an extra payment for one month by accident. I asked freedom mortgage to refund the money several times and they didn’t. I asked them to stop the auto payment for the following month and they said they couldn’t. When I didn’t pay for the following month since I had already paid in advance they charge me a late fee! Customer service is a joke. Stay away if you can

Worst company I have ever dealt with. I am an active duty service member and a first time home buyer. They put my escrow in the negative without ever contacting me to explain ANYTHING. I’ve been paying my mortgage for almost 24 months and have had zero interaction with this company. When I contacted them about my mortgage going up an additional $1,000 a month all they could tell me is that “it was a mistake on their end” for not being contacted. I told them I have exemptions for my taxes and they only have a fax number to send the document to. This company has created a financial hardship within my home because their inability to communicate and or provide proper guidance. Military members, if you see this company come up during your VA home loan process… go in a different direction.

I would give a zero rating if I could. Freedom Mortgage is the worst company I have ever encountered. They put our escrow in the negative due to them paying our property taxes twice and paying our homeowner's insurance twice. They have done nothing to correct it. All they give us is lip service. When you call, it takes 45 minutes to reach someone that can't tell you anything. This has been going on since January. Please beware of this company. I do not recommend them.
