Freedom Mortgage - Corporate HQ and Call Center

Robert Cook and Dawn Girardi were my main contacts, and they were FABULOUS!! This process was so easy. I have been impressed with Freedom Mortgage from the time they bought my loan from Wells Fargo. I was initially annoyed that my loan was sold by them, but it turned out to be a great blessing. What a great company to work with. Thanks to all who assisted me in this refinance.

By far the worst mortgage company I’ve ever had to work with. Our loan was sold to them. Okay cool happens all the time. But then they send vague emails saying a generic coverage isn’t included. As myself and my partner have both worked in the insurance field, we knew what the email said was missing we had. But we called the insurance agent and we determined they were talking about a different coverage. Called Freedom to ask if they meant we needed X coverage because we already had Y. The rep said they didn’t know, and was confused there was a difference. So we upload our policy and Dec page. Then we get another email saying hey better add this or we will. Again call them. They have no idea if we do need X or if it is only referring to Y. So as someone who has worked in the insurance indus

I had a great experience with this loan process. Everything moved smoothly and efficiently, and communication was outstanding the entire time. Every question I had was answered quickly and clearly. The team was professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I would absolutely work with them again.

This is the absolute worst mortgage company for military families. I'm so sorry if your loan gets sold to them. Phone calls last more than 40 minutes to be connected to the right team. We attempted to refinance with them and it took 5 months total. Most of their employees don't speak clear English and talk off a script. I hate it here. FM if you're reading this, please give me my documents I requested in my portal. It's URGENT yet there's no way to call the military department for URGENT matters??? Wow.

Terrible company, poor communication. Our loan was recently taken over by them and out of nowhere we get told our insurance policy doesn’t cover “wind”, both us and our insurance agent reached out to them multiple times to confirm we in fact do have wind coverage in our policy. After multiple notifications of them threatening to buy insurance for us (and charge us for it) if we didn’t prove we had coverage and over 30 minutes on hold, their version of “wind” is hurricane insurance. Which our previous 2 servicers did not require and none of their reps seem to understand the difference between wind and hurricane coverage and why it should be more clear in their communications. So now we’re out the cost of a hurricane policy all because our loan was sold to this idiotic company. Fingers cro
