Customer Reviews
Rocio, the property manager, is a god send. A relief to the covert-abuse and crimes i have experienced from management when i lived at Park Wilshire. She is attentive, responsive and a positive influence to the maintenance and the quality of living of my home. She has a great attention to the detail and does not leave anything unfixed or unattended for her tenants. Fred Leeds Properties improved exponentially because of her and i have lived here for the past 11 years. she is a true mija, a professional in property management with a wonderful work ethic. If i can give her 6 stars, i would.
Staff is incredibly rude and aggressive when dealing with clients. Specifically Oscar and Marcela in Los Angeles; they are absolutely atrocious in terms of customer service. When I requested to speak to someone else, Oscar refused and said he was a manager for Fred Leeds company directly and would not provide me any additional information. They also required tax returns to rent an apartment, very invasive. Terrible experience, do yourself a favors and do not rent from this company.
My neighbors water heater burst. 80 gallons of water leaked into my unit and hers. Nearly nothing was done. Mold is setting in and a restoration team wasn’t called. Fred Leeds was aware at 8:30am and is now 7pm. If you’re getting an apartment with this company do not expect them to have any systems in place for emergencies.
Rent at your own risk. Been renting from them for over 28 years. The last few years they have gotten worse. They will take forever to fix anything and when they do come to fix something? It's never properly done. They want you to move out, so they can go ahead and Mickey Mouse your unit and charge the next fellow double the rent. My honest review.
Let me start by saying that the proximity with DTLA is amazing. I can walk to grocery stores and my apartment in itself is not too bad. The price is also better than most places. Negative side : management is terrible, no one cares to pick up the phone or they will pretend they will do stuff but then ghost you! Door slamming is a thing day/night and apparently we should be ok with it. Don't bother to bring it to them, they have NO intention on enforcing their own policies/lease. Water leaks are common so the water gets shut off maybe once a month and unless you go downstairs to check if a note has been put on the front door, you are not getting any notification so sometimes you try to take a shower but can not, or drink some water, surprise , NOTHING! Can they send a text? an email? The
