Avoid this management at all cost. They manage their properties as well as communicate with you in a 19th-century way. At the end of your lease, they will not only to refuse returning your deposit but also to charge unreasonable deductions. The worst management ever in my life

I lived in a Franklin West apt for 3 years. They were great landlords. Responsive and urgent when it came to maintenance requests. The fireplace worked, they replaced my balcony door when the old one became hard to open and close. I moved out the day my lease ended and followed their decor, upkeep and moveout instructions as closely as i possibly could. I got my ENTIRE deposit back. I’m very happy with my experience.

I rented from Franklin West for 6 months. My experience was amazing. The front office staff were always courteous and professional. They abided to the lease to a T. Maintenance was always quick and considerate. They fixed all the issues to the best of their ability, while also keeping my comfort in mind. That’s what it’s all about. Please note that the units are well kept, but older. During my time renting, they replaced my water heater, my AC, and fixed other items in my apartment, as needed. Emails were responded to in timely manner. Holly is a fantastic property manager. I can say that the Franklin West staff are good people who are fair and honest. Stay away! They are great when you're leasing with them, but the second you leave you will be charged with a litany of fees, including the landlord's cost of finding someone to re-sign your apartment. You will not get your security deposit back and will even owe them money due to unspecified 'turnover fees'. Please be careful when signing with them.

My husband and I rented from Franklin West between 2016 - 2018. The apartment was great, very spacious, and the Franklin West management was always very responsive for the couple of issues that arose while we were there. We found that Franklin West does everything by the book and they are very transparent with you about what to expect for each process step. The application process is straight forward, their deposit requirements are clearly spelled out with the lease, and they send out a letter at the 4 month mark stating that the lease will renew unless you contact them that you want to cancel. We would definitely rent with them again if we were staying in Pittsburgh.
