Overall a pretty decent place. Its old n has some issues, but maintenance lives on site and is rapidly available for any problems. 2 elevators, apartments come with a cute small balcony that has a nice view, a gym, on site laundry, secure mail room that's monitored, secure building itself. Decent amount of parking, covered if u pay a lil extra. It has a pool, pretty nice. Large dumpster lol. River runs behind it with a loooong walking trail you can easily get on and enjoy a pretty walk. My amazing brave daughter lives here, its her 1st apartment and I do approve of it for her. Rather roomy, very clean, reasonable rent, safe building. Im so proud and happy for her. If your looking for a place, I do recommend.
It's my fourth year living at the Fountain Place Apartment. I had no problem past three years while I had a lot of great experience with the community and management team. Great management is the best part of this place. Every concern is well maintained and addressed by the manager instantly, and it's amazing how all the former and current maintenance people could be so nice. I also like the location. Reo town has been growing and lively. I love walking to grab my dinner at Saddleback barbecue and working at Blue Owl with great coffee. View from my units shows fall color and Lansing downtown. In every morning they always put fresh coffee and cookies at the apartment lobby. The building may bit a bit old but always maintained clean. I know it is easy to look clean overall missing some detai
I’d like to start with the pros. It is a spacious apartment, I enjoy the location, the public areas are kept very clean. Cons is I moved in and the blinds were bent. I was told that maintenance would not replace them because they weren’t damaged enough to justify replacement. Furthermore, my living room windows won’t open and I was told it would take 6-8 weeks to get new ones. After 2 months, I sent an email asking about them and never received a reply. I had a package stolen from the mailroom. Jessica the manager was great about getting it back and the thief paid for using half the product inside. The dryers don’t work and I contact the company who operates them but they don’t do anything to fix it except clean them out. I have never had a batch of laundry fully dried on the first go. So
I lived at Fountain Place for 10 months in 2022–2023. The positives first: - Reasonable rent. - Lots of storage space. - Good location, about 1 km from the CATA bus station and on the River Trail. - Mia kept that place clean and really worked to do so. - I did get a refund on one month's rent and released from my lease when I lost my apartment due to a massive maintenance issue I did not cause and that I had put in requests about when it was a minor thing. The building staff and manager (Jessica) were very helpful with that time, or as helpful as I believe they could be. Far less impressed with the area-level management. - The property manager there when I left, Jessica, was responsible, responsive, and took her job seriously and cared. The negatives: - Some maintenance requests ignore
I was initially drawn to the Fountain Place Apartments for three reasons: 1) It's cost-effective. 2) The location is really convenient, just 5 mins from my work. 3) There are a *lot* of effusive, positive reviews for the apartments and management, which is far from common! (Bonus: absolutely no mention of any bedbugs in any reviews--if you think this is a low bar, you're correct. But so it goes). As it turns out, the reviewers were spot-on. The walls really are *quite* thick and you won't hear your neighbors often, if ever. Almost all utilities are covered. I told Beverly that the gas stove wasn't working and someone came up to fix it within 10 minutes of my complaint. She ensured that new counters and cabinets were installed before my move-in. The place is always kept clean and hospitab
