Fort Vancouver Terrace

I am not a resident, but I was taking my evening stroll. Curious about the community. I tour a self guided exterior walk. Impressive! Well lite, clean, ample parking, bike station with motion sensor light, EV Charge stations, well light front office with plenty of informational resources.

Our family has lived in this apartment complex for over 10 years. It’s an “OK” place to live in. The housing assistance/ subsidized program is great (for low-income families), although you have to wait for it. The maintenance is helpful. What we don’t like is that multiple times we have found nails in our cars’ tires, and some other minor car damages which can make you feel that you are living not in a very safe area.

Response 1/17/2024: When I asked where I am currently on the wait-list, I was told by the wait-list specialist Lachelle Crowe "1 bedroom #9. Please keep in mind that these positions can fluctuate due to priorities and preferences that we are required to follow due to fair housing laws." Previous email from Jade McDonald, property manager on 12/11/2023 states "You are currently number 17 on the 1 bedroom waitlist." There was no indication of preference or priorities mentioned in the email from Jade. This is my concern. I'm very confused. When I did the app to be put on the wait-list, I was told it was time and date sensitive. Now, I'm told that there's a preference. I'm very concerned about this. I have asked in the past where I was on the wait-list, this is the first time anyone mentioned

Love it here the staff are so very friendly and kind they keep up on the property. It's quiet. The maintenance are very good at what you request you need done. The owner keeps this place looking good. We love you and miss you kristy!!!

Maintenance are just spiteful, will go out of there way to tow your vehicle, complain about any little thing, will rudely tell you to do things, act like they own the building, when you ask them to fix something they give you the biggest attitude, complain threw the hole process. When you complain to management on them nothing is ever done. Seems like the complaints fall on def ears. I know multiple residents that have given complaints to mangment about maintenance and nothing is done. If you want to live in a place where what you do is watched. You want to feel like a child. And you want to follow the maintenance power trip rules then this is the place for you.
