As a female I felt threatened today because I had a maintenance man follow Me for no apparent reason. In this process I was on the Conference call while I was walking a dog. Nowhere on the property as I’m entering it through the sidewalk doesn’t mention that no pets are allowed. As well as no trespassing. sign. When I walked through I was following a GPS that was leading me back to the property of where this dog I was walking lived. The dog was not peeing or pooping literally we were just walking through following the sidewalk. as I was walking through a man that appeared to be a maintenance person started talking to me loudly saying that I wasn’t allowed to be in the p

I lived at Fort Strong for 6 months while I was here on a company assignment. This is fine for someone who needs temporary housing, or is looking for a basic living arrangement. There is nothing fancy about the apartments and the apartment community offers no perks (i.e. gym, events, etc.). They are clean, basic, and convenient. Quick access to 66. 10 minute walk to Courthouse/ Clarendon Metro stations. 5 minute drive to Georgetown. Grocery, Starbucks, CVS, and dry cleaner 5 minute walk. Management - There are 2 brothers that manage the buildings. They are friendly, personable, and quick to respond to any maintenance issues as well. I lived in Fort Strong for about 5 years, splitting that time between a 1br and a 2br. Through that time I was consistently impressed by management's generous business practices, friendly and respectful engagement, and ultra-responsive maintenance. The apartments are basic, but everything works and they'll fix it fast when it breaks. My refrigerator went out on a Sunday, and they were in before noon on Monday to cart a new one in. They never raised my rent once (aside from when I traded up to the 2br), and they returned my full deposit when I left. The neighborhood is excellent, rent is a bargain, laundry is in every building, and there is no extra charge for parking spots or utilities (except cable). I lived here for two years, and this place is truly a gem. The location is fantastic—within walking distance to Clarendon, Courthouse, and even Rosslyn, where you’ll find grocery stores, plenty of restaurants, and cool things to do—and for the price, you couldn’t ask for more. The property is extremely well-maintained, quiet, and the management team is amazing—always responsive, attentive, and genuinely kind. My apartment had a view of the cherry trees, which were an absolute spectacle during spring and made the experience even more special. The community is friendly and welcoming. The building has a cozy charm, and the surrounding area is safe and well-lit, making it perfect for evening strolls. I truly can't recommend Fort Strong Apartments enough! I've lived in the same building for 6.5 years and have been so grateful for my time here! Fort Strong Apartments is in a great location--it's very easy to get into DC and is close to biking trails, Metro stops (walking distance from Courthouse and Clarendon), lots of grocery stores, cafes, bars, etc. The apartments (I've lived in a two-bedroom and an one-bedroom) are really spacious and have a lot of really wonderful natural light and hardwood floors. But I think one of the best parts is the kind and responsive management! I've never had to wait for a service request to be completed, and feel like my well-being is truly cared about! If you're looking for housing in the DC area, I highly recommend giving Fort Strong Apartments a call!
