Foothills at Old Town Apartments

I truly enjoyed my two years living at Foothills Old Town. The entire team there was wonderful, and I especially want to recognise Jeanette from the leasing office—she was always outstanding, helpful, and kind. Abby was also great to work with, and the maintenance crew consistently responded to any issues I had in a very timely and professional manner. Everything was always fixed quickly and properly. What I loved most about my apartment was how spacious it was compared to any other place I’ve lived. I had the White Alder layout, which was perfect for me and my family. The high ceilings, quiet atmosphere, and thoughtful design made it an amazing place to call home. Lived here for less than a year 8 months to be exact, due to military orders my wife and I had to move out before our lease expired. We left the place better than we got it, and the property kept our entire deposit. Even after receiving the Ledger Report, it just doesn't make sense. Staff are friendly, seemed like they care. Up until this instance. Move in at your own risk.

I lived here for 1 year, and if I had the opportunity, I probably won't go back. Before moving in, I didn't realize how outdated the units are. The refrigerator and freezer runs loud, it had drip stains running down that I couldn't clean off and was slightly dented. The water from the refrigerator with sometimes be room temperature and sometimes would be cold. The kitchen sink doesn't have a sprayer, and the patio doors suck! The doors going into the patios automatically slam! Not gently close but literally slam hard! So many tenants rudely allow their door to slam no matter what time it is, early in the morning or late at night! It is not necessary to have that on the door. I lived here for a year and a half at the height of the pandemic and it was the best complex I've ever rented from. Now living in a place with terrible management and constantly miss the Foothills staff. They were always so helpful and friendly to me. The grounds were beautiful, we had a view of the mountain behind, short walk/drive to Old Town.. literally no complaints. If we still lived in Temecula I'd move back here in a heartbeat! Miss y'all!!

The staff here is terrible!! Me and my fiancé applied here and got an instant denial from them. Come to find out they took our application fee and never even ran a background check. When I called and informed them that my credit report shows great credit and that I just had a background done by their same vendor (rentgrow) she then wanted to argue with me that they already ran mine but then told me I could pay another application fee to her over the phone so they could run it…. Very unprofessional!
