Five Coves Apartment Homes

TLDR: DO NOT MOVE HERE I lived here for a bit over 3 years, and I have a list of reasons to deter you from moving here. 1. Parking is *always* an issue: you get one spot to share and the rest is “first come first serve” (mostly taken by people who do not even have a permit to park there and are *never* towed) & that parking is usually taken up by 6pm at the latest; not to mention street parking is IMPOSSIBLE 2. Bugs!: I had roaches consistently in my apartment for *at least* the first 1 1/2 years due to neighboring apartments and there’s always gnats/mosquitos around 3. Rising rent costs: rent continuously raises without significant improvement to the property 4. People do not pick up their trash!!: there’s trash and dog poop left everywhere, constantly 5. Illusion of safety/security: ga

I would not recommend Five Coves Apartments. From the day I moved in, there were serious habitability issues: a mouse infestation, no functioning heater, and no locks on the windows or patio door. None of these problems were fixed until Anaheim Code Enforcement got involved. Even after that, the property continues to show neglect. The balcony wood is deteriorating and has attracted carpenter bees, and there are nails protruding from the balcony roof that create a clear safety hazard. Overall, management only seems to respond when forced by outside authorities. Tenants deserve safe, well-maintained housing, and this community does not provide that. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Staff is nice. The complex is mostly family's. Watch for complaining and calls to the office from some residents. All in all it is a decent place to live

Haven't lived here long. The only real issue is the spiders. The shrubs around the circle attract them. They tore my ankles this summer. Jacuzzi will never be hot. The new manager is cool. She does her job, so gotta be in line. She does show compassion, and understanding firmly. Home is were you Are!

Would be and was the perfect place to live, but the leasing office has taken a turn to the worst! Multiple times they've given residents less than 24 hour notices of any significant changes or requirements. They straight up ignore residents and work orders and will even go as far as threaten residents to not email in any more work orders! Hopefully someone higher up will see this and do something to reel in their leasing office employees. Also! Everything everywhere is constantly infested with thousands of spiders!
