I am writing to express significant concern regarding the payment options available through the Bilt app for rent payments. The Issue: Currently, the Bilt app system only allows for payment of the full minimum outstanding balance, which presents a major obstacle for tenants who utilize split payroll cycles. When a new balance is generated, the app defaults to requiring the payment of two full months' rent as the minimum payment due, due to the inability to pay down the prior month's balance partially. This policy directly leads to late payments, resulting in unnecessary court appearances and eviction notice filings, which are administratively burdensome for both the resident and the management team. The apartments are clean and spacious. I live in one of the complexes that has hardwood floors which I love and are easy to clean. The current property management are very responsive and accessible via email or phone. I would also be VERY remiss if I did not mention how responsive the current maintenance staff is. Recently my microwave then dishwasher were giving me trouble (hey it happens) within a 48 period and two quick calls (one to the maintenance hotline and another to the management office itself) resulted in a fantastic, professional, efficient, knowledgable and skilled technician names Yoseph arriving at my place on the same day as each appliances was acting up and he fixed both of them on that first visit. I am very happy here.
DO NOT RENT HERE! All the good reviews were from past management. The recent management is a train wreck. All of us residents complain about the management. Their customer service is the worst I’ve seen, completely 180 from past managers. They don’t treat you with respect whatever issue you come with. The manager stays at her desk and refuses to talk to residents, her receptionist goes into her office and returns to tell you that the manager is busy. Every time. You’d have to return multiple times to get answers. They absolutely don’t know what they’re doing!! I would not recommend to anyone, unless you want to be driven crazy. I’ve never had issues with people the way I have with these people, NEVER IN MY LIFE. They should not be working in customer service!!
