I want to leave a review for the maintenance technician, Alexander Orrego. He was very punctual, respectful, professional, and kind. He worked quickly and efficiently and explained everything clearly. His customer service was excellent, and he did his part exactly as he should have. That said, I am disappointed with how FirstKey handled the microwave replacement approval. Alexander requested the correct microwave size that would fit into the existing space, but the approved microwave was not the right size. Because of this, I now have one microwave installed in the slot that does not work and another larger microwave sitting on my counter. This issue is not a reflection of Alexander’s work at all — it was an approval issue on FirstKey’s end. I hope this gets corrected soon. — Melissa Va

Ronie was the maintenance technician who came out to help with my concerns. He was very respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. He handled everything in a great manner and provided top-quality service. I’ve had a water leak in my home since May 30, and despite multiple “repair attempts,” the problem was never fixed. I’ve submitted several maintenance tickets and followed up repeatedly, but weeks and months have passed with no real action. Now there’s mold growing under the carpet and a strong wet smell in our bedroom. The last update I received was that they were “waiting for approval” to repair the bathroom and that was it. Since then, I haven’t heard back from anyone. FirstKey Homes seems attentive until the lease is signed and the deposit is paid. After that, communication disappears and maintenance issues are ignored. Renters deserve safe, healthy living conditions not months of water damage and silence. In addition I also have had to throw out several pieces of furniture pieces

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Living in a home by this company has been an utter nightmare from the very start. Our home was without a properly functioning AC unit for the first month (possibly longer, not entirely sure on the exact amount of time) of our lease during the summer, making out new rental virtually unlivable.There also was very little insulation which I had to fight to get replaced, and the AC still intermittently has issues. We have had issues where techs were supposed to come out at a time between 12 & 4Pm, just to show up at 7PM. Basically wasting my entire day waiting for nothing. There have been countess issues which all should have been addressed prior to our lease beginning to make it a livable/“move-in ready home”. Some include but are not limited to outlets ceasing

The rental approval process with FirstKey Homes was honestly a great experience, and a huge part of that was because of Beth Gluvna. From the very beginning, Beth was amazing. She took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. She was friendly, understanding, and incredibly welcoming. Beth explained how everything worked and walked us through the process step by step until we were approved and the house was officially ours. She never slacked, was always responsive to emails and phone calls, and truly followed up all the way through to the very end.
