First National Title Company

If you’re looking for a title company that keeps things moving quickly and accurately, I had a great experience with First National Title. Sara Beth, the escrow officer, was incredibly easy to work with—friendly, down-to-earth, and on top of everything. She made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. I can say all of this with 100% confidence because I’ve used them twice now, and it was the same experience both times.

Holly’s had the wrong acreage listed when we went to close for the first time so we canceled the closing even though she tried to get us to close while the acreage was not correct. About a year later after the acreage was corrected, we closed (the second time) I found errors on the survey that she sold to us. The boundary pins and the legal description do not match therefore we lost some land because this. She said “ the pins are your property line but we didn’t guarantee anything passed the center of the power line”. Now we own some property and are paying taxes on it but can’t legally be on it.

Though we had a very easy cash buyer and seller home sale closing, First National failed in completion of the closing. It took four days to receive proceeds from our sale, and then, it took three weeks before was I routed to speak with Mr. Jim Pender, whom I'm told is the owner. Mr. Pender offered me $7-$10 for the trouble, and then proceeded to give me a verbal lashing over the phone, where he REPEATED the phrase, "We'll see you in court!" Such vitriol when his company was in the wrong. The opportunity to do the right thing, after completely lacking in customer service, was not taken. Instead, attacking the customer was the choice made by this firm's owner/representative.
