I did not feel supported with the virtual closing. My rep was not able to answer questions related to my unique situation. I was grateful that the Notary was so knowledgeable and able to help.

We had used First American Title in the past and when we were looking at purchasing a new rental property, we knew had to use them again. From the beginning they helped us every step of the way, very professional and courteous with a complete focus on providing outstanding customer service. We will be using them again on our next property we buy. Special thanks and shout out to Marci (branch manager), Monica (escrow officer) and Brittany (loan closer) you guys exceeded our expectations.

Buyers closed (cash) remotely. I requested closing docs 3 times and did not receive them prior to closing. I requested Buyers receive a electronic docs for signing 2 weeks prior to closing and again confirmed a week prior. I was told that they would receive on the 23rd (closing day). On my way to the final walk through I called to confirm the wire was received and was told closing docs were signed on the 22nd and wire was received. This was BEFORE the final walk through. At the final walk through there were several issues however because title sent the docs to them for wet signature and the docs were returned prior to walk through the issues could not be resolved as they were now owners of the issues. Title did not provide notice that TITLE changed the day and manner of closing and

First American has been my title company of choice. In my experience they promptly return calls/emails, answer questions for the buyer and seller, communicate clearly, and documents delivered on time.
