Horrible experience. Six months after closing with First American and moving into new property I was dismayed when I received bill from community association that wasn’t paid at closing. This included hundreds of dollars in dues, late fees & transfer fees from previous owner going back years before. I brought to attention to Clear Lake branch where I had my closing. Initially they acknowledged problem and stated check being requested from corporate office. No check ever came, didn’t return my calls or messages, no response to my emails from branch manager. Months passed...No response, no accountability, no customer service. In the meantime late fees continued to be applied to account. I had to file claim with corporate office. Much distress, time and energy spent over rectifying this.

Vanessa Jaster is a rock star! I had listed a property with an unusual survey that I was sure would be a pain in the butt for me. Vanessa managed to get everything ironed out with no sweat of my brow, and the property closed right on schedule! 10/10 would recommend.
