I visited the branch on 11/20/25 to make a deposit, and my interaction with an employee named Melinda was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, Melinda was rude and unprofessional. She did not introduce herself until I specifically asked for her name. Throughout the interaction, she argued with me without cause and showed a dismissive attitude toward my questions. I was clearly struggling to hold my paperwork while also trying to show her an email thread on my phone, yet she did not offer any assistance or even a place to set my documents down. Her demeanor made me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. Excellent experience working with First American Title and Heather Shiffer. From the moment we opened escrow, until closing, she was extremely communicative and timely with letting all parties know what was happening and within what timeframes. First am has been my title co for 30 years. Not once has there been a problem and much has to do with their concern that all works correctly and no surprises done the road. Other companies out there but none with their commitment and loyalty. They do have turnover w staff which makes quite difference in seamless transactions.
