Fifth Third Mortgage - Brent Eckhardt

We've used Brent for a couple of mortgages, one during residency and one with my first "real" job, as well as a refi during the pandemic. Brent is very conscientious and transparent in trying to find the best deal for his clients and is very attuned to the needs of physicians and understanding their financial situations during training and thereafter. While he's changed firms a few times, this mainly reflects his desire to continue to offer the best possible doctor loans and the reality is that some banks which might have had fantastic products in the past can't always continue to offer these. Brent, however, remains focused on finding the best deals for his physician clients regardless of the bank he's with.

Brent is the best for a reason. I have now used him to purchase four separate homes and for one refinance over the past 10 years. He was able to get me the best rates, every time. His assistant, Kara, is top tier as well. I plan on using him again for a refinance.

I have initiated two mortgages and a HELOC with Brent and he has been exceptionally patient educating me and answering countless questions. He has also put me on to products that he does not necessarily offer himself that have best served my needs at the time. I have followed him throughout his career and intend to keep working with this man for all of my lending needs.

Brent and his team are great. Any banking process is an ordeal and process but they make it as easy as it can be! Highly recommend. I have followed him for my banking needs for nearly 10 years.
