As someone in the mortgage industry, I work with title companies daily and rarely leave reviews—I understand that mistakes happen and nobody is perfect. However, our experience with Mike Dulack at Fidelity National Title on a recent refinance transaction was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share. The transaction itself was smooth until funding. Due to the borrower’s availability, closing was moved a day earlier with title's permission and documents were rushed out. So many parts of my deal were complicated. It was contingent, there was a very short escrow period and the company was having a technical issue right when we went under contract. I cannot believe how professional and expedient this title company was. They had back ups to back ups to make sure my clients were well cared for, safe, and their contractual obligations were met.
