I have worked with Fidelity over several years and always found them great to deal with. Recently, we have 3 different closes (2 as a buyer, 1 as a seller). All the transactions went smoothly. They were very helpful in helping me when I was buying and selling without use of a realtor.

Full disclosure, I have worked with Fidelity before, and not had issues. This time however, a form we were sent that gave instructions for how we were to receive the proceeds from our home sale, was filled out to indicate a wire transfer not a check, and given to Fidelity with our other closing documents. I questioned verbally how they were to get the information for wiring the proceeds because that was not on the form, and was told to include a deposit ticket for the routing and account numbers, which I did. When closing day came however, a check was somehow delivered to our bank account rather than a wire. This of course means the check has a hold rather than have access to our home sale funds.
