Farmington Manor Apartments

I love Farmington hills with a passion so diverse and welcoming to all sorts of ethnic groups! I had the worst experience when I met the building manager. He made me feel very uncomfortable because of the color of my skin. I was so upset about the way he treated me. I was asked if I was telling the truth about how much I make. He refused to give me a lease because of what he recalled “new renovations”. I had a friend go in there to see if they would get the same treatment (white female). He offered her more than 4 options. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

I called Farmington Hills Manor to see if they had any one bedroom apartments available and I was told that an apartment will be available in a few weeks. I went by the office to submit an application for a one bedroom apartment with my paystubs and ID attached. Here's the part that really turned me off: As I was filling out my money order, I was told that I would have to submit a $600.00 security deposit in order to view an apartment. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! This was a classic bait and switch! No one will pay money to view an apartment, period! This led me to believe that they didn't want my business at all. When the manager and I were discussing costs, I was under the impression that once an apartment became available, I could view it. There was NO mention of a $600.00 charge to view

I wouldn't live here nor apply to get approve to live in this type of apartment.His attitude was nasty on the phone and just cause we was young adults.He need to learn how to talk to people in a respectful way ,if he want people money there are more place anyone can live and I can live.

INFESTED with bed bugs and roaches. property owner refuses to treat them/ tries to get the new tenants to pay for his problems. don’t even bother renting because you will have to break the lease to get away from BUGS

Manager is very Friendly. Takes efforts to action the issues immediately. Good maintenance. Rent is reasonable. Good place to stay.
