Fairway View Apartments

I have talked to 3 ppl in the front I have talked to the property manager I have talked to 3 maintenance people, even one of them was the head I have had my maintenance request closed 4 times. My original request started in October of 2024. I was told to make a new one in February instead of making a new report. For three weeks the apartment complex has not had working washers or dryers. the excuse of, "oh Entergy hasn't sent someone", isn't cutting it. I was told when I got here my apartment would have a spot for a washer and dryer then I was told no one bedroom would have one but we have units in a room two apartment groups down. Now they don't have any on sight. (Updating the review, it now works, it only took 1 month and half) It also took at least two weeks for the company to remove

I have lived here since 2007. This community has always had major issues. Previous management was completely unresponsive and maintenance has always been an issue. Previous management was extremely unorganized and Latoya the leasing manager stole my money orders for my rent payment. There is now a new management team and new maintenance staff. However, Shawn one of the previous maintenance men remain here. The property manager, assistant manager and the two leasing people are very nice responsive and they truly care about improving the community. I am hoping that the assistant manager Lisa is able to contact previous management to recover my stolen money orders. They recently sold the property to new management, which was a mistake. They fired all of the previous staff who had been working here for years, and the new staff is completely incompetent. The security lights were all shut off very shortly after the sale, meaning that it's pitch black after dark which has resulted in a rise in crime. Cars have been broken into and windshields smashed in, and packages have been stolen off of porches. I've repeatedly informed the office staff of these issues but have been brushed off. Any time anyone goes to the office during the rare times they're open, the staff treats you like a burden and gives an attitude. In reference to the review given by “Tiffany Ortiz”. This person never lived at Fairway View since I’ve been here from August 2020-November 2025. I took the time to know each of my tenants and this is a false review. I've never met this person, accepted money orders, or processed the rent here. This person has not lived here since 2007 and she likely doesn't live here now and I am unsure of the motive on behalf of the complex and the reviewer to say these things. I went into the office on 01/05 to speak with Lisa since the review claims she is working with my previous company to retrieve the money orders. Apparently the property was sold recently and is under new management. The new management has no knowledge of what to do. When asked if office hours are changing … the answer is I don’t know; when you go to the office for a package pickup they don’t acknowledge you and if they do you must retrieve your own package and they haven’t sent out any notice to the property of any changes they plan to be making. From what I heard they suddenly fired all the original staff, some who worked for the property for 20 years and were originally promised they’d keep their jobs, because they sold the other property they owned and didn’t have anywhere to put those employees.
