DO NOT LIVE HERE! Awful noise issues, and they do nothing about it. I moved in without them telling me they were putting me below a family with a young child who stomps around from 6am-9pm (probably the reason the last person moved out). After I started complaining they purposely got a dog. The management has taken to just ignoring my complaints, so unfortunately my next course of action is involving the bloomfield police department. It sucks that it has come to this but JCM living decieved me into an unlivable apartment. ALSO: residents pay for parking passes without any guarantee that they will have a parking spot. People have been sneaking into the parking lot from next door for a year now. Nothing is being done.

Monica, the leasing agent help process my application in one day. She follows up on every call. She forwards information and responds. Probably she even gets up early to meet you to give you your keys. She is a number one professional leasing agent with a personality bigger than the sun.

I have had not AC in my apt since may. Email many times. Told it’s Pseg fault. But is 85 degrees They gave a portal ac but it takes hrs to cool down. Can’t cook cause kitchen is sooo hot. Not what I expected when I moved in. And only took a 1 time $. 100 off rent. Most wkn can’t stay here Very upsetting

I lived there for 3 years and it was the worst 3 years of renting experience I have ever had. The owners do not return emails or phone calls. There used to be a property manager on site, then they removed them and have them located to where people who do not have transportation to get to can go speak to someone in person. If you get the office to answer your phone calls, the answer is always , I’ll look into that and get back to you. Of course, they never do. The rent used to include central air and heat. So as expected the rent is pretty high to cover the cost. But now , they are installing ‘state of the art’ central air units that will be controlled by each individual unit, which is great because not everyone likes the same temperature. But, they are not decreasing the rent that you paid

While the complex is well-maintained, and most of the units seem recently updated, the walls are thin and sound travels too easily. You can hear a neighbor sneeze in the unit next to you or above you. More needs to be done to ensure that new tenants lay rugs and hang curtains to absorb sound, in addition to being encouraged to mind how loud they are in general. Smells travel through the heating/ac vents. Pot smoke is supposed to be against the lease, but tenants don't follow it and you're subjected to their gross smells and habits. It would be better if more tenants were respectful of their neighbors and followed the community rules. Essentially, you're limited to the luck of the draw if you happen to have neighbors who share walls, ceilings, or the building in general in terms of if you w
