Everwood Apartments

This review is only for the application process. Blanca, the manager I worked with, was excellent. She has the perfect balance of professional and helpful attitude. She was always able to answer my questions clearly and concisely. Finally, she went above and beyond to help me. The only reason I didn't get an apartment here was because I needed a 1st floor apartment, for health reasons, and limited availability had driven the price up while I was looking. Regarding the apartments themselves, this is a gated complex. The gates actually worked when I visited. I was able to walk the apartments before signing anything. Of the 4 apartments I walked, 1 had some concerning issues with the floor (though is probably safe), 1 wasn't cleaned yet (totally understandable if you want to let people view

Everwood Apartments has been a wonderful place to live. The apartments are beautiful and well-maintained, and the pool is definitely a standout feature—clean, relaxing, and perfect for sunny days.The manager truly makes this community special. Blanca took her time and explained with great detail, she was very patient and helpful throughout my stay and always goes the extra mile to support residents. Roberto was very consistent and helpful as well, service requests were completed in a timely manner, Their professionalism and kindness make a big difference and the overall experience here has been very positive. I highly recommend Everwood Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to call home.

The best part of living here was moving out. Honestly, the worst management I’ve ever experienced. Mass messages sent to the community were rude, aggressive and accusatory. The property could be better kept. There is a strong smell of dog waste permeating which is made worse in the summer. Trash on property as well. Frequently, there was raw sewage and tissues coming up from the ground drain by the stairs, flooding the whole area. Maintenance does not fix things properly or requests are ignored. Broken cars are peppered on the property and people use it as a mechanic shop, which is in violation of the lease. I was forewarned that management would lie to keep the deposit. I love living at The Everwood! The grounds are either clean or being tended to. If ever anything has come up I’ve been able to speak with the office manager and she’s really good about getting to the issue quickly. Blanca and Roberto are both phenomenal and you just really couldn’t ask for a better place to live simply because they both work hard to keep the complex nice. We had SUCH a pleasant experience with this apartment complex. The rent is awesome for a safe, convenient, and good neighborhood in Dallas. I've rented a lot of places, and Blanca in the front office is one of the most competent property managers I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We had to terminate our lease early due to some personal changes, and I felt like we were treated extremely fairly (to be clear, we paid out the rest of our lease, but there were no ridiculous added charges or other nonsense - like I said, it was fair to us and to the complex). Blanca laid out our options clearly, and our final account statement was delivered promptly after our move out date.
