English Manor Apartments

Went to tour here and Davida, the property manager, was very welcoming. She answered all my questions and gave a very comprehensive overview of the property. Already loved the look of the place and now I love the fact that the people there really make you feel seen and understood. As a potential new renter it was a great experience.

She is passionate when it comes to business … & willing to work tirelessly when it comes to “ Managing “ . I’ve had a brief time with her as my go to property manager for about a month or two … she never disappointed … I’m honored to still be a tenant under her management .

Two stars because I love the complex, the location, and the people who live here. I don't know if the manager just doesnt care or is spread too thin. I have sent her SEVEN messages that have all been ignored. I told her repeatedly that I was having sink and plumbing issues from day of move in (10/10) and on 11/19. And because I wasnt taken seriously, it became an emergency with waste water flooding our kitchen and dining room. Water has now turned black and this is how we're expected to live because she can't be bothered on her days off. I'm having to cook on the living room floor because the kitchen is absolutely disgusting. Being charged $1400/mo in rent, I expect WAY better.

Today I toured English manor and hoping to get approved. I love the space, the area is quiet, also the property manager was very pleasant, love her energy.

The elevators and intercoms do not work. Despite multiple inquiries and requests to address these problems, there has been no effort to repair and replace the elevator and intercom systems. The building is old and decrepit and in desperate need of extensive repairs and renovation. It is a dangerous place for anyone who has a disability or is an older person. If there were a medical emergency on the fourth floor (top floor), it would be very difficult for emergency services to reach residents. The problems need to be fixed.
