Encore Apartments

I lived in the same apartment for 11 years — not necessarily by choice, but because it’s been the cheapest in the area. It’s a quiet, somewhat secluded complex, but you definitely get what you pay for. Maintenance: There is virtually no maintenance beyond changing air filters. No one ever cleaned or serviced the AC, furnace, or water heater. Our AC died, and our water heater ruptured and flooded part of our apartment. They removed the trim and never replaced it, handed us industrial fans, and said “good luck.” The same thing happened to my neighbor, flooding my kitchen, too. No inspection for mold or water damage was ever done. Maintenance staff turnover is constant. Most issues are outsourced to the cheapest contractors who show up in unmarked cars and without uniforms. Management thinks they can just show up in your apartment to just "check things" for absolutely no reason. They are rude, don't think they have to abide by government laws/rules. They had been caught going thru your personal items. When they do surprise inspections they leave no note saying they were there, don't think they have to. The only good thing is that apartments are decent and grounds well kept.

I just hung up the phone with this complex. I can't believe how rude the woman I spoke with was. I was asking if the appliances in the older of the 2 types of buildings on site were updated. She not only acted like my questions were taking up too much of her precious time, but also laughed at me when I asked my questions. I have money in hand looking to lease in June. I have been calling around to many different apartment complexes and I am shocked at how this woman treated me. When I asked if they had a floor plan available, she cut me off to tell me "Oh no, sorry hun, we have nothing available." in the sassiest tone I have ever been spoken to before. With that attitude "hun", you should have a lot of apartments available in the near future, especially if you speak to your tenants like yo

I recommend this apartment to anyone. Maintenance is fast to respond and help with whatever problem. It’s a quiet neighborhood. The apartments are newly redone inside. Overall the best apartment we have ever lived in.

I have lived here 10yrs. Great maintenance and regular upkeep and improvements on the complex.
