Encore Alsbury Apartments

What a nightmare! Where to even start.... Needless to say, first impressions are lasting. 1) move-in day, we were asked to arrive after 3:00-3:30 due to cleaning and prep for move-in delaying the movers for 3 hours which cost us extra per hous. (still can't figure out what was cleaned) 2) AC not working, although maintenance promptly fixed issue. 3) The absolute filth and nastiness that we walked into was appalling. Toilets with dried urine around seat latches, filthy windows, blinds, drawers, cabinets **please see attached pics 4) Small closet in kitchen smells of mold that permeates throughout the apartment. Management and staff are useless. When I moved in, they rushed me through signing my lease, tried to get me to sign a lease that was much more than what they quoted me. The apartment was disgusting when I moved in. There was candy stuck the the floor, everything in the kitchen was sticky, leaky stinky kitchen drain, nothing had been dusted, I can tell you the person that lived there before me had a dark color long haired dog because the hair was everywhere, there were stains all over the carpets. When I brought it to their attention I was told that I should have looked at new construction properties because I had too high of expectations. This place is a nice looking place in a convenient location in Burleson. Nice, friendly residents, and pets are usually welcome. The one star comes from the money hungry property owners. There are so many hidden fees, changing property rules, and awful customer service, I can't believe they are still in charge! The craziest policy they enforce is charging $80 to DNA swab each dog living on property, so if you allow your dog to poop on site and neglect to clean it up, for any reason, and the apartment owners find it, they DNA test it and charge the offending residents a $250 fine! I don't know how that's legal! I pray that this lovely complex eventually gets owners that appreciate the people who make this place a good place to live.

Lisa has been just absolutely amazing. I literally love her and so glad she is here to help us through our moving process and really just everything. I love these apartments tbh they are nice and CLEAN!!!! quiet and everyone is so nice!!

Throughout the 2 years of living in this apartment I've had nothing but issues with the office staff with communication. The maintenance workers are absolutely amazing! And very professional. Encore has had countless property management changes within a short period of time adding to the communication issues
