Where do I start? I moved to Kipling last July, and had never lived in an apartment before. I was nervous about shared walls, smaller spaces, privacy, etc. I felt so comfortable and at ease right away. I love having my own space, including my washer and dryer in my unit, and having the common amenities available to use. Enclave management is courteous, friendly, and communicates well. Maintenance requests are easy to make and they are always completed within 24-48 hours. Coming from renting from a private landlord, I was used to maintenance requests being put off or downplayed; Enclave really takes care of their tenants and properties, and prioritizes maintenance. I am happy to be a Kipling resident, and look forward to renewing my lease this summer. Thank you for making my new home so enj

I live at Encore Apartments, managed by The Enclave in Fargo, and overall my experience has been mixed. On the positive side, I really love the apartment finishes. The faux wood floors, marble counters, and stainless steel appliances give the space a modern, clean look. I also appreciate having an in-unit washer and dryer and a glass top stove — those features make daily living much more convenient. My main frustration is the storage design. The cabinets and closets are very high and deep, which isn’t friendly for shorter residents. The closet layout especially feels poorly planned, with hanging space positioned awkwardly high and difficult to access. Temperature control has also been a challenge. I moved in during the summer, and the living room air unit struggled to cool the apartment

Do not rent with this company!!! The apartment itself was fine, but my experience with management during move-out was extremely disappointing. After providing notice and paying additional rent beyond move-out, the handling of charges and my deposit became difficult to resolve. The process lacked transparency, and communication did not feel balanced or fair. I would strongly recommend future renters fully understand all lease terms and consider how management handles issues after you move out—not just while you’re signing the lease. Based on my experience, I would not rent from this company again.

At first glance they look like nice apartments but after staying there for 4 years I am telling you to go somewhere else. I only stayed as long as I did because of family issues at the time. They raised the rent every year without making upgrades to the unit/building. They charge pet rent and pet deposit. The office to pay with money order/check was horrible to get to. It was always locked, the receptionist rude and condescending. So it felt like we were forced to pay online where they charge you a $10 fee every time for "convenience ". There was garbage everywhere outside the building all the time. They said they would hold pet owners responsible for pets waste but never did. When I first moved in they only had tenants pay for electricity, 3 years in they changed it to where we had to pay

Different rules for different tenants. Some smoke pot in the building and mgmt does nothing. Police won't help. Refuse to make repairs. Rent increases each year are over $100 a month for nothing. Increase in renting their washer and dryer for inside unit, yet charged more each month next year, yet SAME washer and dryer. Employees are rude. They are worse than Goldmark.
