Empress Management

A landscaping company that was hired by our HOA and managed by Empress broke my sliding glass door window on June 20th. It's now August 5th and my window is still broken. I've been told that Empress is "waiting" for the landscaping company to give them a repair estimate. I've been ignored, talked to like I'm bothering the office people, and generally blown off. Their actions and behavior do not suggest a professional company. I would never recommend that an HOA would use them as a management company.

We continue to ask easy questions only to be evaded. Leave a message; send an email. We never have received the answers to the questions we ask regarding upcoming maintenance to or property. Empress is excellent at avoiding hard questions and providing truthful answers. The facts: 97 one star reviews to 40 five star reviews. Not a coincidence!!

I’ve worked with management companies for the last 20plus years in the area and have them to be one of the better companies if not the best company to work with. The staff has always been very accommodating with issues we have had on properties.

Air BNB owners can ruin the peace if you’re unfortunate enough to live beneath one. Empress is not very helpful in resolving the issues that I have. There are running children all hours of the night, barking dogs that have been left alone when the owners go out to dinner, dogs left off leash to run the property, and small children peeping inside my condo. I am really disappointed in what little response I have gotten from Empress. They suggest I get an attorney because they can’t do anything.

Worst HOA ever! I got a notice that I was being charged $50 for DENIAL of pest control for the last 3 months. When I called to inform them we haven’t denied pest control, we are usually at work so pest control should have used their key, the lady told me “well unless you have video footage of this proof we have to go by what he says and he marked it as denial” I told her that I wasn’t paying the fine and she said “okay we will see about that”. So I took it a step further and emailed the board of directors. They obviously came back with they were removing my fee. But I never received an email stating this, I had to find out by my rental office. There are reports of roaches in our building so denying pest control isn’t on my agenda as we’ve lived here for almost 7 years and have never had a
