Elmwood Court Apartments

I recently signed my third lease agreement to continue living in my Elmwood Court apartment. The car port was a major factor in why I chose this location as was the close proximity to the 590 & I've been happily surprised by other things along the way: the property management team is very responsive & helpful (a special shout out to Elaine for her recent help with some updates); the maintenance crew has helped me immensely with projects within my apartment; the neighbors are friendly but give you your privacy. I really love my one bedroom apartment & look forward to more years here at Elmwood Court.

Do NOT rent at this complex. I have been here for 6 years and it has continued to decline every year. Let us count the ways Elmwood Court is not recommend. 1) Rent will be raised every year, regardless. Expect to pay $40-60 more a month at renewal time. When you ask why the answer is some vague version of “going rates are higher”. Yet, when compared the more expensive properties offer swimming pools, updated kitchens, fitness centers and more square footage. 2) Management continuously fails to address tenant concerns. Neighbors are allowed to have their children running, screaming and jumping throughout hallways and in their apartments. Walls are paper thin. You will hear everything. We have sent numerous emails about neighbors smoking weed inside, screeching children at all hours

Shanessa Sosa the apartment manager of this place is a corrupt liar. Be VERY VERY detailed and document every request PRIOR to moving in. If you can, get your copies signed by her because she is a pathological liar. She's a total bait and switch slumlord. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this place if you want to live in a place where management doesn't think of their residents as white trash. Go where you're appreciated. In this poor economy why not patronize organizations that appreciate your business?? This place is an overpriced spider infested dump!! Loud music, cigarette smoke smells everywhere. No answer when you call for maintenance. Hot water turned off (what a coincidence that it's "included in the rent" LOL) NIGHTMARE place---to be AVOIDED!

Came into the rental office to inquire about future residency. I was greeted to excellent care by Ellaine who was very helpful. She had all the answers to my questions about finding a place there. Looking forward to moving in within the near future and dropping a second review.

the one star is for the area which is okay, but this complex is the worst. It is dull and dark. outdated buildings and apartments… not worth what they’re asking. had my buzzer rang strange hours of the night and day on multiple occasions, they do not have video intercom and didn’t at all consider adding it so I felt very unsafe while living here
