So on December 2, I was approved for a one bedroom renovated unit with the garage. E. I was told that the unit was not done being renovated that it would be eligible for moving in on 15 December on that date when I came to sign my lease when I got to the office, they knew nothing about what apartment I was supposed to be going into the girl that had originally took our application was no longer with the company. Everything is still the same besides, the owner did reach out to me said that they were gonna do a walk-through take pictures and then they would be back in touch with me. I’m a current tenant at Elements of Chattanooga, and let me tell you right now: living here has been a complete disaster. The mold and mildew on my bathroom ceiling is beyond disgusting. It’s not a small spot, not a “we’ll get to it later” issue—it’s the kind of thing that makes you question how this place is even being managed. Every day I look at that ceiling, it feels like this place is falling apart while I’m stuck paying full price for the privilege. And trying to get help? Forget it. The apartment is okay for someone needing a place to stay at the moment and at first we loved it. After 2months we started having a roach problem and Nothing and when I say NOTHING has fixed it I mean that they came to few times to spray it seemed to get worse within a month we have a new baby in the house and things have gotten so bad they've done started to get on our bed and her bed as well as clothes and other things we just did our own personal bombing of the house and it killed a few but they are still coming. Along with they have drug problems at the apartment and even have people living and smoking dope in the car and passing out in the car in the building next to mine. I went in to apply for a unit this morning as I’m in the process of relocating. When we walked in, the black lady sitting at the first office on the left, looked at us and told us to come in. When we came into the office, she never offered a seat. She never asked if she could assist. I had to initiate the entire conversation.
