El Monty Apartments

These apartments are getting old. I think 50+ years actually. They are overpriced. Idk where the new owners got those new looking pictures uploaded on here. My apartment looks nothing like those pictures. Parking lot floods bad. If you move here, you better get some waterproof boots. Getting your feet wet to get in your car is annoying.

**Worst complex ever** Don't waste your money with these slum lords. The apartments fell into disrepair 20+ years ago and are literally falling apart. The walls and ceilings/floors are paper thin and you can hear and smell everything. Roaches and ants are everywhere. The staff is inattentive and patronizing. To top it off, if they cause your apartment to fill with noxious VOC fumes, they will not provide you with a temporary safe space. Two big thumbs down!

The Property Manger Karen is hands down the greatest Property Manager in the world!!! She’s been our property manager for about 4 years now and is the absolute best at her job! Any time there’s a problem she gets it addressed and taken care of right away. She has amazing communication skills and will do whatever it takes to make you feel welcomed and comfortable! I could only wish ever property manger was like her, I highly recommend her for anyone that’s looking for a place to stay!

I want to start off by saying that I have had an extremely horrible experience here at El Monty. Last night our apartment was shot at with BB guns from a complex behind us by a couple of drunk college kids. This made a human-size hole in our back patio sliding door. Glass everywhere. After notifying the police, we called the apartment manager multiple times because we considered this to be a “emergency maintenance” request. This call was made at 7:30pm on Thursday night. We finally got ahold of the property manager and she said that she was sending someone over to come board up the door. We waited till 10pm and no one came so we proceeded to call over and over and no one answered or came.( and to remind you, glass is everywhere and still falling piece by piece every couple of minutes) This

Karen really is awesome. The apartments themselves are not great, you get what you pay for. But this girl goes to bat if something is messed up in your place. Give this lady a raise she’s the only reason for all the 5 star reviews.
