DO NOT RENT HERE. I’m including my move-out pictures in this review to show the condition I left the unit in. I fully acknowledged the apartment needed a standard cleaning, and I was more than willing to pay for that. However, management insisted I was also required to steam clean the floors—a requirement not stated anywhere in the lease. (Mind you I own a steam cleaner and kept that floor cleaner than what it was before I moved in) They also told me there’s a standard $225 painting fee if you live there less than 2 years, which is not only absurd, but illegal under California Civil Code §1950.5, where landlords can’t charge for paint unless there’s damage beyond normal wear and tear. I absolutely love living at El Dorado Hills Apartments! The place is always clean and well taken care of, and the team here is amazing — super friendly, responsive, and easy to talk to. Any time I need something, the office staff and maintenance is quick to help, and they always check in to make sure things are right. Gabby was great with helping me move in smoothly too! It’s quiet, the neighbors are respectful, and I really feel safe and comfortable here. Plus, the location couldn’t be better — close to everything but still feels peaceful. Honestly, this is one of the best communities I’ve lived in!

Lived here for a few months. It's not an IF but WHEN I break my lease to leave here. I'm giving 2 stars because the things wrong here are mostly out of management's control. It's the disrespectful neighbors and residents that ruin this otherwise nice location. I've never lived around such disrespectful neighbors in any apartment complex. Neighbors do NOT pick up dog poop. It's disgusting. Neighbors let their dogs off leash in areas not for dogs treating the pool or soccer area as their personal dog park. There's also a handful of aggressive dogs too. Neighbors park so close to my parking spot I cannot get in or out of the car. So I park on the street. I love El Dorado hills apartments! Everybody on the staff and maintenance are very helpful friendly. This place is very clean, they keep up the outside and maintenance on the inside. This is a very quiet and family-oriented place. Lot of military as well ,Thank you to our service members. This is a wonderful place to call home. I encourage you to come check out the apartments you can even find them on Instagram at El Dorado hills apartments for a virtual tour. I've never been happy in an apartment complex until I moved here. You have tennis court basketball court you have a little soccer area little playground for the children. You have two pools and four jacuzzis and an all-equipped gym. Again I encourage you to come check out the apartments I love living here and couldn't imagine living

DO NOT RENT HERE! Appliances are outdated, the washing machine is tiny and the dryer takes hrs to dry a small load of clothes. The staff can be quite rude at times, and peolpe are often dumping large amounts of trash and old furniture on the ground in the dumbster area, which is very gross (see pics). Also, the parking spots are too small and is often an issue.
