EKOS Lake Shadow

I want to thank Karen H. for making sure the new flooring was completed in a timely manner. The floors look great, and the entire process was smooth and well coordinated. As someone who works remotely from home, this was extremely important to me. I truly appreciate the support from Management Karen H. and the team at Ekos at Lake Shadow.

I moved into these apts from the grand opening and It had its hiccups at the beginning. Then they Hired this new property manager named Karen. This property manager is what this property needed. She communicates and does not ignore the tenants. She even answers the phone thats a shocker alone.she handles the needs of the property. The property is still quiet and clean. She immediately take care of maintenance requests. She smiles when you talk to her which is welcoming. Keep her at all cost because she is a gem in the rough which is hard to find. We love her here.

I applied before this place was finished being built and because of a member of the leasing team canceling my application for no reason, I couldn't move to the apartment I was approved for. I was told I would have to reapply, pay an additional $75 application fee + $250 to "hold" an apartment if one ever becomes available. I have tried again multiple times to contact the leasing office and no one ever answers the phone or returns phone calls. I was one of the first people to attend the interest meeting, I showed up with all necessary documents to my scheduled appointment. I was approved for the apartment and then my application was canceled. It's really unfortunate that they do business this way.

I am so glad EKOS at Lake Shadow finally has a manager, who actually communicates with the residents, she's like a counselor for some of us with her easy going spirit, and open door policy, but please don't mistake that as an opportunity to take her for granted because she is still all about business and it's best to be honest and transparent with her so she can help you. I also love our new maintenance man Claudio, when I put in a request he comes faster than a speeding bullet, and by the time I blink he is done with the job. I look forward to being a resident at EKOS until I am able to but a home. Ekos has the lowest rents in the area by +30%! I cant believe these new apartments are renting at these prices. The units are big and the amenities are great. Love the pool, playground, walking path, and fitness center.
