This guy is a compete crook. Don't be fooled by his friendly answering machine messages. This guy will act like he's in charge but anytime you need anything serviced or fixed he'll say he can't do anything about it because he's just the property manager. Then if you ask for the landlords information he wont provide it. I'm currently looking at my own breath inside my apartment because Twohy told me that my entire apt was electric and just ignored me when I told him the heat didn't work. A week later after several calls he tells me that it's gas heated and I have to open a gas account. That would've been fine if I had known from the beginning. This dude sucks. Keep looking.

Edward Twohy & Associates do not know how to rent to people. When being shown my current apartment (which I will be moving from and my roommates decided to stay), Tony talked up all the renovations that was done during the year it wasn't rented. However, only the bathroom and kitchen seem to have gotten any updates for more than several decades. The electrical frequently goes out and over half the outlets are outdated. The roof leaks somewhere anytime we have a moderate storm. After attempting to patch it at least twice a month, they finally sent out a roofer who refused to do anything due to the roof needing to be replaced. Edward Twohy and his associate, Tony Taylor, are reprehensible crooks. They let contractors doing work on the building operate out of our fenced-in back yard. Those contractors complained about stepping in my dog's droppings, so Tony Taylor informed us that he would assess a $1,000 pet deposit. This was in addition to the $1,000 deposit we had already paid, plus another thousand in rent. This was for a shabby, 2 bedroom apt in the fan. He justified the extra deposit by telling my room mate and I that he was requiring it because "He just didn't like us." We refused to pay it, and he started hanging nasty letters on our door and driving by the apartment at odd hours. We met with Edward Twohy, who is a character left over from the antebellum south - think of a lawyer from To Kill a Mockingbir

My experience has been great with this company! I love the charm of my apartment which I have been in now for over three years. Love the location! I have recommended Edward Twohy to other friends and they have had no complaints either.

I rented from EM Twohy for 11yrs. Very responsive to maintenance calls and general upkeep. Very pleasant to communicate with. Enjoyed the property.
