If you’re considering buying a home from **Eastwood Homes**, **be warned!** My experience, along with many other homeowners, has been frustrating due to **serious construction defects, poor grading, and complete lack of accountability** from their team. **My Major Issue: Improper Grading & Landscaping Neglect** ✅ **Eastwood did NOT properly grade my backyard**, causing erosion and land instability. ✅ **They failed to extend dirt and sod to the property line**, leaving large bare patches of soil that worsen over time. ✅ **When I asked why the dirt and sod were not completed, their representative admitted it was because

Our impression of Eastwood has shifted significantly over the past year — from a positive home-buying experience to very disappointing support afterward. I’m not even referring to issues like part of the backyard being left completely undeveloped, with the explanation that they were only responsible for a limited area. The warranty process itself has felt very unprofessional. To be fair, we don’t currently have major concerns, and I hope that remains the case. However, during the first year we submitted two warranty requests. One was addressed, but the other — involving leaking faucets — was denied with explanations that didn’t seem reasonable to us. Additionally, although we were told during the purchase process that Eastwood conducts a one-year warranty walkthrough, we never heard from t

If I could give no stars a I would. This is a warning for anyone who has already built with or will with Eastwood. Recommend never building with this company. House is only 7 years old and we recently noticed second floor water damage. Had a professional roofing company out and they found Eastwood left off several feet of flashing that allowed water to infiltrate. How this was missed in the opinion of the roofer was mind boggling and egregious. Roofer also noticed a number of other homes with roof issues where the decking is severely sagging with additional flashing issues. Note,our neighborhood homes are only 7-9 years old. Pictures provided before the repair showing the flashing missing and the hole they left.

As a first time home buyer this was a great experience. Eastwood homes' customer service is great, they have been responsive to all correspondence, and pleasant to work with. I do and will continue to recommend them to friends in transition to home ownership. As a young female, I appreciate that I can trust them. Many times we can feel like we are being mislead because of lack of knowledge of these types of processes, but I did not feel that way at all. Glad I made the choice to go with Eastwood Homes.

We love our Eastwood Home. We purchased last May (2017) in Raleigh area; the home was about 1/2 through construction when we went into purchase agreement contract. Everything part of our experience was positive; the office staff, the construction crews, the lead builder the adherence to construction timelines, & the attention to detail to the home and to us... all so, so very good. We would definitely work with Eastwood again!
